Regional Sales Manager (NE Territory)

Location I-95 Corridor Northeast US

Responsibilities

In this position, you will sell products and services to accounts within the US Northeast territory.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Proactively visit accounts in paints & coatings, automotive, plastics, personal care, 3C, and other applicable markets to sell products and services within employees defined territory
  • Prospect, develop and close opportunities through order, installation and training stages
  • Proactively work with telesales and business line managers on opportunities and account strategies within the territory
  • Proactively sell to qualified telesales leads within the territory
  • Manage appointments and  opportunities  by documenting  needs, and  developing relationships with users, influencers and key decision makers at each location
  • Maintain accurate Key Account information to act as the dashboard for the location, and store in CRM account
  • Maintain rolling 3-week calendar, working with districts/”hotspots”
  • Visit customers 3-4 days every work week
  • Keep all appointment and customer documentation up-to-date on a weekly basis in the CRM and Outlook calendar. Includes proper scheduling and completion of customer visits and calls through the activities function of CRM.
  • Maintain closing dates, sales status, and chance of success in CRM for all active opportunities in CRM on an ongoing basis
  • Follow daily/weekly/monthly protocols as outlined by the Sales Manager concerning all sales and documentation activities
  • Represent company at regional and national trade shows and conferences

  • Experience giving successful and meaningful customer presentations
  • Proficient listening and questioning abilities
  • Skilled at time and territory management
  • CRM database knowledge
  • Desire to join industry organizations

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • Three (3) years of technical/professional outside sales experience required
  • B2B Capex sales experience strongly desired

Special Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Up to 80% travel required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Valid passport (or ability to obtain)
