Please describe your career so far
After studying economics in Duisburg, Germany, I spent my first professional years as head of a financial accounting department before coming into contact with SAP as part of an implementation project for my former employer. I then transferred internally to the IT department at the head office in Düsseldorf, where I was responsible for operations and various projects in the SAP environment. In 2007, I then started at BYK-Chemie GmbH as an FI/CO in-house consultant, where I worked on various international SAP roll-outs as a sub-project manager or project manager and later took over the management of a team in the IT Projects department. In 2019, I then became Head of SAP Competence Center at AMS in the newly established division. I am still in charge of this today.
