End-Use Executive Industrial Applications

Responsibilities
The position focuses on supporting and growing the business in end-use adhesives sealants, paper, lubricants, metal processing and home and personal care via technical services.
Key Accountabilities
- Engage with manufactures of adhesives, paper, lubricant and home and personal care industry
- Interact with potential and existing customers in general with special focus on important MSME customers. Engage with them to be a part of their development activities, understand their problems and provide solutions
- Generate technical service requests (TSRs) and execute them in BYK's Technology Application Center with support of distributor partners or individually
- Be a bridge between the customer and BYK's Technology Application Center for development project execution
- Lead the execution of such TSRs as per targeted timelines
- Provide necessary inputs on competitors and their offerings through good market intelligence
- Coordinate closely with distributor partners to plan and execute Annual Operating Plan targets

Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in chemistry with Diploma or PG Diploma in paint technology or B Tech or M Tech in polymer or paint from a recognized university / institute
- Minimum 5 years' experience in R&D. Additionally 2–3 years' experience in sales is preferred
- Self-starter; organized, problem-solving, detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to work as team player
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in all forms
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, identify problems and demonstrate solution approach
- Ready to travel throughout India
